2. Collection and storage of personal data and the nature and purpose of their use

A. When visiting the website

When you visit our website www.europeanfashionacademy.com, information is automatically sent to the server of our website by the browser used on your device. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file. The following information is collected without your intervention and stored until automated deletion:

• IP address of the requesting computer,

• The date and time of access,

• Name and URL of the retrieved file,

• Website from which access is made (referrer URL),

If you have expressly consented in accordance with Art. 6 sec. 1 lit. a DSGVO, we will use your e-mail address to send you our newsletter or invitations for events on a regular basis. For the receipt of the newsletter or the invitation, the provision of an e-mail address is sufficient. You can unsubscribe at any time, for example via a link at the end of each newsletter. 4. Cookies

We use cookies on our site. These are small files that your browser automatically creates and that are stored on your device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) when you visit our site. 5. Analysis Tools

A. Tracking Tools

 

The tracking measures listed below and used by us are carried out on the basis of Art. 6 sec. 1 lit. f DSGVO. With the tracking measures to be used, we want to ensure a needs-based design and the continuous optimization of our website. On the other hand, we use the tracking measures to statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate it for you for the purpose of optimising our offer. B. Google Analytics

For the purpose of customizing and continuously optimizing our pages, we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service of Google Inc. (https://www.google.de/intl/) (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; hereinafter "Google"). In this context, pseudonymized user profiles are created and cookies are used (see point 4). The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website such as

• Host name of the accessing computer (IP address),

• Time of the server request,

transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The information is used to evaluate the use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website and internet usage for the purposes of market research and the design of these websites according to their needs. This information may also be transferred to third parties if required to do so by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of the company. Under no circumstances will your IP address be merged with other data from Google. The IP addresses are anonymized so that mapping is not possible (IP masking). You can prevent the installation of cookies by setting the browser software accordingly; However, we would like to point out that in this case not all functions of this website can be used to the full extent. C. Google Adwords Conversion Tracking

In order to record the use of our website statistically and to evaluate it for you for the purpose of optimizing our website, we also use Google Conversion Tracking. Google Adwords sets a cookie (see point 4) on your computer if you have reached our website via a Google ad. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. 6. Social Media Plug-ins

We use social plug-ins of the social networks Facebook, Twitter and Instagram on our website on the basis of Art. 6 sec. 1 p. 1 lit. f DSGVO Social Plug-ins in order to make our Academy better known. The underlying commercial purpose is to be regarded as a legitimate interest within the meaning of the DSGVO. The responsibility for the data protection-compliant operation must be guaranteed by the respective provider. The integration of these plug-ins by us takes place by means of the so-called two-click method in order to protect visitors to our website in the best possible way.

 

A. Facebook

On our website, social media plug-ins from Facebook are used to make the use more personal. For this we use the "LIKE" or "SHARE" button. It is an offer from Facebook. In particular, you may request information on the processing purposes, the categories of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data has been or will be disclosed, the planned retention period, the existence of a right to rectification, deletion, restriction of processing or opposition, the existence of a right of appeal, the origin of their data, if not collected from us, and the existence of automated decision-making, including profiling and, where applicable, meaningful information on its details;

• In accordance with Article 16 DSGVO, immediately request the correction of inaccurate or complete your personal data stored by us;

• In accordance with Article 17 DSGVO require the deletion of your personal data stored by us, unless the processing is necessary for the exercise of the right to freedom of expression and information, to fulfil a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims;

 

• In accordance with Article 18 DSGVO, to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data in so far as the accuracy of the data is disputed by you, the processing is unlawful, but you refuse to delete it and we no longer need the data, but you require it to assert, exercise or defend legal claims or you have objected to the processing in accordance with Article 21 DSGVO;

• In accordance with Article 20 DSGVO, to receive your personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, common and machine-readable format or to request the transfer to another controller;

Within the website visit, we use the common Secure Socket Layer (SSL) method in conjunction with the highest encryption level supported by your browser. Typically, this is 256-bit encryption.
